About this event

Writing animals in fiction is a complex, rewarding and rejuvenating process. From "Animal Farm" to "Mink River", several authors have gravitated to the form to deepen empathy in the reader and establish an immersive fictional world. In this six week class, students will work on several in-class writing prompts to develop both writing and research skills to render an animal presence precisely on the page.
