About this event

Well visit two epic viewpoints overlooking the Salmon Huckleberry Wilderness. Tumala Mountain is a former lookout site and Sheepshead Rock is a unique rock formation. On a clear day, they offer outstanding views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. Well cover about 11 miles with 2100 feet of elevation gain. Expect overgrown trails and some blowdown to navigate. Well carpool from the MMC departing at 7 am and aim to be back by 4 pm. I have not been on these trails before which in Mazamas parlance makes
